Florida is the place to relax at the beach. It’s also a great place to get some work done. As a Travel Blogger, sometimes I want to mix things up and get out of my beautiful office (we converted the toy hauler into a nice office space) to immerse myself into a beach bar while I work.While we were in Florida we spent a significant amount of time traveling to different beaches in search of the best spots. We found the perfect beach bar experience to work for the day while enjoying good food, great service, awesome live music, and a million dollar view!

Jimmy Bs beach bar has won the #1 Beach Bar in Florida two years in a row. Located on St Pete Beach it’s close to Downtown St Pete and nearby Tampa. Jimmy Bs is part of the Beachcomber Beach Resort Hotel and is a popular spot for locals to come eat and drink. Our friends from California came out to visit us for a week on vacation and this was the first place we took them.

As a Travel Blogger, wifi is critical to our business. Sometimes we have to upload videos and pictures that eat up our limited data which is where working while you eat at a restaurant becomes wifi paradise. Many times we’ve gone places where the signal is too slow to get anything done and we just end up frustrated. The wifi here had a strong signal and was fast! This picture doesn’t accurately show how great this day at the office was!

They have live music 7 days a week! In the day and in the evening. I got to listen to them jam out while I worked. If you love to dance they open up the dance floor so get ready to dance around in your flip flops.

You can relax in the lounge area, working in the shade with a drink or some appetizers. In the bar area they have tvs everywhere to watch your favorite team!

After I got my work done we headed down to the beach.

They have chairs pre-set up for patrons.

But you can also bring your own to relax in the sand.

If you’re looking to rent Jet Skis, Paddle Boards, or other water excursions they have them available right on the beach. 

We brought tubes for the girls to float around in the warm waters of the Gulf.

The white sand keeps it relatively cool which means it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy some rays.

If you’re looking to do some beach bar hopping there is a great spot next door called the Toasted Monkey as well as some other great spots within beach walking distance.
