Recently we had the pleasure of staying at RV Resorts that were on the Silicon Valley Wine Trail. The wine was great, but the views are fantastic!

This area is known for having rival quality wine to nearby Napa but far less expensive. We left from the Thousand Trails Morgan Hill Resort to head to the Thousand Trails San Benito Resort. Both Resorts are on the trail. When we were in San Benito, after doing a little research on the best wine and views in the area we headed over to Pietra Santa Winery. When you pull into the driveway you get an impressive view of the large building.

This Vineyard was originally planted in the 1850s and they still have vines that were planted in 1905. We got the full tour and the most interesting thing to me was learning about the different sections of the vines and how they produce very different results and flavors.

They are dog friendly so The Traveling Pomeranian was able to join us.

If you aren’t a wine drinker stop in and get their famous Lemon infused Olive Oil and soak in the views.
