Our friends from California flew out for a visit and we wanted to find something for them to do near the RV Resort we were staying at. There is a free tour and tasting at the local Lakeridge Winery so we headed on over to learn about the wine process.

Located in Clermont Florida, Lakeridge is a great place for people in the Orlando area. It’s easy to find, right off highway 27 towards Ocala. They have a huge parking area as they often hold big events. It’s also dog friendly. When you walk in you notice a nice cabin type feel as you’re immediately greeted by their friendly staff. For the tour they take you upstairs to watch a movie on the history of the winery and how it’s made.

I was impressed with how big the batches of wine are! They take you way above the workers to watch them as they make the wine.

Our tour guide was very informative but also really entertaining.

Danielle is pregnant so she skipped the tasting but enjoyed it just the same. 

After the wine tour and tasting we headed outside to tour property.

It’s a beautiful property with great views.
