Horseshoe Bend is one of those Awe Inspiring places that causes you to be in the moment. What made our visit really unique is that we didn’t boondock here, we didn’t stay at a nearby campground, we stayed at Walmart where we had a million dollar view of the Colorado River with endless hiking right outside of our RV! I’ve got a good friend from Peru who I’ve known for many years. He is living with his wife in Florida so they headed over to go camping with us for the weekend. We were excited because they were our first guests in the Heartland Road Warrior Toy Hauler. Read More

DSC_0379 copyMy brother Mike and I use to head up camping in the Sierra’s every chance we had back when we lived in Southern California. I owned a marketing firm and adjusted my schedule so that I was ready for a last minute trip up to the Mountains. We also had company camping trips. Everyone was invited and we went to some incredible places like Yosemite, Cucamonga Peak, and Onion Valley.

After he moved back to Minnesota I kept hiking and climbing with other friends. During that time period, I fell in love with hiking and camping in the Mountains. I realize there’s endless things I enjoy about heading up to enjoy some time in the Mountains. Here’s a few reasons why the mountains are so captivating: Read More

One of the things we LOVE to do while RVing is to eat at unique places. It’s something we didn’t really think about before traveling the country in an RV. We didn’t consider ourselves foodies by any means. Of course we enjoyed good food, but we didn’t get overly excited over the prospect of a good meal (other than a Chili Cheese Burrito at Taco Bell, those things are epic). We have heard a lot of people talk about being passionate about going to good or unique restaurants.

We’ve realized that being full time RVers it puts us in a position where it makes sense to do research online before heading to out in a new area.

We feel so blessed to be able to work remotely and travel across America. The freedom we enjoy in this country is incredible. The freedom to travel, to build a business, to spend time with the people you want, etc. The RV Life allows you to plan your life the way YOU want! We decided a few months ago we were going to check it off the bucket list to spend Independence Day at the Nation’s Capital in Washington DC!

We ended our Coast to Coast trip from California to Florida in Ocala, FL to meet with one of our Social Media clients. We were chosen to be part of a new TV Show on GAC called Going RV which is essentially House Hunters for RVs. I worked it out so that the TV Show would be filmed at our clients’ Dealership, Optimum RV. The show is produced by Rivr Media and they did a fantastic job of putting it together and making it all come together.

Camping on the river offers a lot of great experiences. The Peace River RV Resort in Wauchula, FL is full of these outdoor activities. We stayed here twice this spring and had a good opportunity to explore the Resort and the surrounding area.

A Florida Winery

Our friends from California flew out for a visit and we wanted to find something for them to do near the RV Resort we were staying at. There is a free tour and tasting at the local Lakeridge Winery so we headed on over to learn about the wine process. Read More

Sometimes RVing is more than just getting away into the wilderness. We were recently RVing to Orlando at the Thousand Trails RV Resort and wanted to do something out of the ordinary. We had heard from multiple people that Capones Dinner Show was one of the best things in the Orlando area. That’s a strong recommendation that we couldn’t turn down. Read More

The first RV we purchased just over a year ago was on a whim. We had decided to move away from California to be closer to family to settle down. Danielle won the debate if we should settle down in Minnesota vs Maryland because although MN is more beautiful, it’s just too darn cold in the winter! I somehow convinced her that if we were going to leave the Surfing Community of Newport Beach, CA that we should buy an RV and travel for six months. We headed to a local dealership and the rest is history. Read More
